Yes…we’re getting married!
Will you need a hotel; an Air BnB; a B&B or caravan? We’re here to help all our guests by adding useful links and maps for the area and places to stay near where we’re getting married.
When and where is the wedding?
When: Saturday, 30 September 2023
Where: The Out Barn, Off Cross Lane, Waddington, Clitheroe, BB7 3JH
Time: 11.00am for the ceremony, followed by wedding breakfast
Evening reception (inc food): From 6.00pm
How can we help?
We know a lot of you won’t be local, so we’ve pulled together a list of places to stay and taxi firms in the area to help you out. The wedding is in the middle of nowhere, so you’ll need a helping hand!
There will be time between the drinks reception and the wedding breakfast for guests to check into hotels. We will be sitting down for food at 2.00pm, after that, you will have an hour before the evening reception begins at 6.00pm.
Finally, we don’t have a gift list for the wedding day; however we’d love to save up for our honeymoon and money towards it would be AMAZING!

September 2022: The venue doesn’t have any bookable rooms to stay, so we’re providing a non-exhaustive list of what’s nearby. There’s loads of Air BnB’s in the area and they’re booking up fast!
May 2023: You’ll shortly be receiving our invitations to the wedding. Regardless of day or evening guests, most of you will need to book accommodation. Our advice is to book, once you’ve confirmed you’re coming to the wedding.
May 2023: For guests invited for the whole day, there is an opportunity to check into hotels etc, after the ceremony. We’d like photos of everyone first then you have an hour (ish). Don’t forget, there are food and drinks being served at this time.
26 July 2023: Please could you let us know (either way) if you are intending to be at the wedding. We now have to let the caterers know of final numbers ASAP.

If you are planning to stay in an Air BnB, areas to book near the venue are: Waddington, Clitheroe, Whalley, West Bradford and Hurst Green
There is ample parking at the venue, should you need to drive and leave your car overnight.
It’s all about the food!
Choosing the food for the wedding was the highlight of all the prep. We’re aware that some of you will have dietary requirements and it would be really helpful if you could let us know of any allergies, intolerances etc, when you RSVP.

We had to make a decision really early on, because all our friends have children, we would have double the amount of kids at the wedding. We’d love to have them there, but we don’t have the capacity. We’re sorry, but children are not invited, only those in the wedding party. We hope you understand ❤️
